Jos Richardson & Sons, have kindly donated £5000 to Howden AFC to get the development work under way.
Owner of Glews Garage & Longs Corner service station, have pledged to support the club in their future plans for better sports facilities in Howden.

Joseph (MD) said “I grew up in Howden and am a keen follower of football and it has always surprised me that Howden does not have better sporting facilities. I am a firm believer that football and other team sports provide great benefits to the community and I think this is a good opportunity give something back to the town.”

The development plans include the construction of a club house with changing facilities, improved access and car parking and upgrading the pitches. The aim is provide the town with a first class facility that the community can be proud of.
